40 years of excellence in optometry education
Bachelor of Optometry is a five-year programme with four years of academics and one year of internship. Academic courses are divided into Basic sciences, Core Optometry, Applied Optometry and Supportive courses.
Duration: 5 years (four years of academics and one year of Internship). As part of clinical rotations, students will be posted in all branches of Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai.
Eligibility: Anyone who has passed the Higher Secondary Examination (XII standard) from the Central/State Board or its equivalent with excellent performance in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology can apply. Computer Science students with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can also apply.
