Khaleemunnisa, an Optometrist at Sankara Nethralaya, presented her M.Phil work on ʺAssessment of Quality of life before and after Immunosuppressive and/or steroid therapyʺ as a poster at the recently concluded UVEITIS conference. She won the “Best Poster” award for her presentation. She was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 1,500.
Leading uveitis specialists from India and abroad congregated at the 9th annual meeting of the Uveitis Society of India (USI) to discuss Uveitis at great depths. Hosted from December 4‐6, 2009 by Sankara Nethralaya in Chennai, the meeting deliberated on the various challenges faced by specialists from the field. |
